The Secret Rollover

Augie had been showing signs of doing a back to front rollover for some time and almost did it the other day while all the grandparents were visiting. He decided however that he would instead do it under the cover of night when even his parents were sleeping! Gary went in to check up on some squeaks and grunts only to find Augie fully flipped over, face planted up against the crib rails. We of course spent the next 45 minutes sleepily trying to find info in all of our baby books that tells you what if anything you should do when your baby turns over on his stomach. All that "Always put your baby on his back" stuff was stressing us out. Finally we realized that if he was advanced enough to flip himself over he was ready for stomach sleeping. This was confirmed by some of the pediatric experts so we just went with it. Plus it was 3:15 in the morning. It's obvious he prefers this new sleeping position as he flips himself over immediately after being put down in his crib. We're obviously quite proud. For now, Liam is sticking with his tried and true, froggy-legs, arms up position and that's fine by us.

Update

The boys had their third well-baby visit where many more shots ensued but overall everything was fine. They differed slightly from each other in a few ways unlike the last visit. Augie currently weighs the most at 11.10 while Liam is a close 11.03. Liam however is just a bit longer at 23 1/4" to Augie's 23".

They also have different and distinct hairdo's.Can you guess who's who?
