I told the boys that if they stopped waking up at 4:00am Santa would bring them lots of toys and comic books and other good stuff.













At first there was some protesting.














Then they discussed it together and after some deliberation decided....

The Solid Food Adventure Has Begun!

The boys recently turned 6 months and we made the leap into the solid food phase with organic rice cereal. To me it tastes like lackluster oatmeal but they don't know that....Or do they? Liam loves it and can't get enough. He currently weighs a hefty 17lbs - no doubt from all that rice cereal binging.

His brother on the other hand is not as big a fan of the whole cereal thing and much prefers to play with the spoon instead.
Or simply eat his bib.

Turkey Trot!

We ran in a Turkey Trot to kick off the Holiday season with my brother, his wife, and their adorable Addy. It provided justification to eat anything for the remainder of the day and most likely the rest of December. I deserve it after running with an extra 50+! (Yes, I had to brag a little bit) but I have to hand it to my sis-in-law who straight up placed 1st in the stroller run. (Next year I'm making her switch strollers with me...)

Liam's first laugh!

In spite of being at the Dr.'s and missing a nap, Liam was inspired to laugh for the first time!
Both boys are doing great and growing fast - they both weigh in at about 14.5lbs. They also got their second round of vaccinations of which I stayed in the room to witness this time. Not fun but we all survived!
